Before launching StarByte, I spent years honing my skills in both retail and enterprise environments. At Fry’s Electronics, I worked as an IT Technician, building a loyal customer base by delivering reliable solutions and personalized service. Later, as a contractor for major technology companies including Intel and Solidigm, I gained firsthand experience with cutting-edge technologies and large-scale IT operations.

These roles gave me a unique blend of customer service expertise and enterprise-level technical knowledge — both of which now drive StarByte’s approach to serving clients. With more than seven years of hands-on experience, we bring both technical skill and a people-first mindset to every project.

We’re friendly and approachable, yet serious when it comes to results. Our signature difference is empathy — because we know the best IT solutions come from understanding people, not just their devices.

Though we’ve just launched, our values are set: to grow while keeping the warmth, personality, and integrity that make us different.

Our Story

StarByte officially launched on August 4th, 2025 — but its roots began long before that. After years in the IT industry, I reached a point where I felt there was no room left to grow. That realization hit during a business trip from Sacramento to Fresno.

On the drive back, I took a detour to San Francisco — a city full of personal meaning for me — and spent the evening watching the sunset over the ocean. In that moment, I made a promise to myself: I would take everything I’d learned over the years and build something new, something lasting, and something of my own.

The name “StarByte” came from a simple but powerful idea. The stars represent limitless possibilities and connection across any distance. A byte is the foundation of technology. Combined, they symbolize our mission: to create solutions that connect people and businesses, no matter where they are.

Our goal is to become a scalable technology powerhouse, capable of standing alongside — and one day surpassing — the biggest names in the industry. We’re proud to start here in Sacramento, with plans to expand carefully across California and into strategic hubs like San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas and New York.

These hubs will allow us to push into rural areas, bringing modern IT infrastructure to places that need it most. We’ll begin by serving small businesses through a hybrid of remote and in-person services, then grow into a dedicated physical location, and eventually expand to serve larger enterprises and individuals.

Every step will be intentional, ensuring quality never takes a back seat to speed. More than anything, StarByte is about making a difference — in business, in community, and in people’s lives.
